Research Interests

My primary practice and research interests are in comprehensive healthcare service provision for people with breast cancer; the intersection between employment, caregiving and health; and health- and income-related public policies (including family and medical leave, sick days, and food assistance program policies). Publications on topics including family leave, earned sick leave, and work life integration for parents of children with autism have appeared in publications such as Demography, the American Sociological Review, and the Journal of Autism and Developmental Disabilities.
