Important Information Regarding Winter/Spring SU COVID-19 Testing Requirements
Members of the SU Community,
Testing remains a critical component of COVID-19 mitigation. Because of that, SU will require all students and employees to receive an SU-administered COVID-19 test within seven days of returning to campus after winter break. (This includes employees returning to campus in early January, students taking face-to-face or hybrid classes during winter term, and all returning for the spring semester.)
Testing dates are scheduled January 4, 5, 6, 12,19, 20, 21, 22, 23 and 24 in the Great Hall of Holloway Hall. Please register in advance at .
Returning students to campus housing: Residence halls will begin opening for the spring semester on Wednesday, January 20, for returning students. Returning student move-in days are January 20, 21, 23 and 24. Returning students should schedule a test now to coincide with move-in. Your scheduled testing date will be your move-in day. Please watch for an email from Campus Housing and Residence Life with a link to sign up for testing.
Students new to on-campus housing: New student move-in day has been scheduled for Friday, January 22. New students must schedule their test for that morning and may move into their new hall following their completed test. Please watch for an email from Campus Housing and Residence Life with a link to sign up for testing.
Off-campus students: Students returning to, or moving into, off-campus housing for spring should schedule their January testing at .
All testing dates for the remainder of the fall semester are full. There will be no testing the weeks of December 21 and 28. Beginning the week of January 4, SU’s 30-day testing requirement will resume. As has been the case this fall, all SU students, faculty and staff will need to receive an SU-administered COVID-19 test at least every 30 days to retain access to campus buildings and services, including residence halls and academic buildings during the winter and spring terms.
If you require accommodations, please email Campus Health.
As always, please continue to visit the SU COVID-19 webpage for the most up-to-date information and send any questions to .
Best wishes to all during finals week, and thank you for your continued diligence in keeping our campus safe.
