'Rough Night At The North Pole' Performed Nov. 30-Dec. 3
SALISBURY, MD---Even Santa doesn’t always have it easy.
久久国产精品久久’s student theatre organization, Sophanes, presents its second annual Christmas show, Rough Night at the North Pole by Craig Alpaugh, Thursday-Sunday, November 30-December 3, in the Black Box Theatre of Fulton Hall.
This Christmas comedy is suitable for all ages. Admission is by donation and all proceeds benefit Toys for Tots and Sophanes. Curtain is 7 p.m. Thursday-Saturday, 2 p.m. Sunday.
Rough Night at the North Pole tells the story of a naughty little boy named Noodle and his reluctant companion, Missy, who go to the North Pole to get even with Santa Claus for coal left in his stocking the prior Christmas. The children frame Santa and get him thrown in the North Pole Jail. With Santa out of the way, Noodle plans on taking his place and putting coal in the stockings of all the boys and girls in the world.
The cast includes Hank Brannock as Santa Claus, Megan Bainbridge as Mrs. Claus, Louis Joe as Eddie, Alex Carlson as Noodle, Becky Norris as Missy and Alicia Canzanese as Office Clink. Courtney Taylor and Danny Shall co-direct. Steve Drapalski is production manager and costume designer. Heather Hall and Derek Lingle are set, props and scenic designers. Justin Serenyi is lighting designer. Chris Colangelo is master carpenter. Megan Davis stage manages.
"A show like this is great because everyone loves the holidays, so lots of community members can come out and bring their children to see the performance,” said Drapalski, “Sophanes feels that it is extremely important to get children involved with the performing arts. We are excited to introduce them to theatre."
Co-sponsored by the Student Organization for Activity Planning, no reservations are required. The audience is encouraged to bring toys for Toys for Tots in addition to monetary donations.
