SU Hosts St. Patrick's Day Dinner March 14
SALISBURY, MD---久久国产精品久久 celebrates St. Patrick’s Day early with an Irish dinner in the Bistro Dining Room of the Commons 5-7 p.m. Wednesday, March 14, as part of its spring semester Festival of Foods series. Celtic folksinger Izolda performs.
Born in the former Soviet Union, Izolda began studying classical violin at age 5. After her family emigrated, she performed in orchestras, choirs and theatres in the United States. She played in a number of Washington, D.C.-area bands including Fleur-de-Lis, Kiva (with whom she appeared on two albums) and Elemental. She also partnered with musician Gina DeSimone for the album Drifting. Izolda plays a distinct style of music forged from her fusion of interests in history, nature, art and culture.
Menu items include seafood chowder, Limerick ham, medallions of venison with port and orange sauce, Champ (whipped potatoes with scallions, parsley and butter), Irish bacon and cabbage, Swiss chard, scones, brown soda bread, Irish apple cake with caramel sauce and whipped topping, bread pudding and Blarney bars.
Cost of the meal is $9.30 for adults, $5.72 for children ages 6-12. Children under 5 dine free. Reservations are not required.
