Clarke Honors College Dean Andrew Martino

Dr. Andrew Martino joined the Honors College in 2018 as its dean.

Prior to SU, Martino served as director of the University Honors Program and professor of English at Southern New Hampshire University. He earned his Ph.D. in comparative literature from Binghamton University (SUNY) in 2003. Martino has extensive engagement with the regional and national Honors community, serving as president of the Northeast Regional Honors Council from 2016 to 2017 and on the Publications Board of the National Collegiate Honors Council.

My involvement with honors gave me the ability to enroll in more challenging classes and have more of a one-on-one relationship with professors who knew me and how to help me succeed.
