Campus, Community Invited to Share Thoughts on SU-City Relationship in Online Survey
SALISBURY, MD---Relationships between 久久国产精品久久 and the city have grown closer in recent years with the campus expanding to downtown and projects like the Regional Institution Strategic Enterprise (RISE) Zone — a business corridor between downtown and the campus — winning state approval.
Now, community members will have the chance to share their opinions on how they would like to see the relationship continue through a new online survey.
Through Friday, December 14, area residents may take the survey, administered through The Optimal College Town Assessment. The University last conducted the survey in 2015.
“In recent years, SU and the City have come a long way toward bridging the gap between Salisbury’s being ‘a town with a university’ to ‘Maryland’s Coastal College Town,’ said Eli Modlin, SU deputy chief of staff, director of government and community relations, and chair of the University’s Town-Gown Council. “As that relationship continues to develop, we want to make sure community members have an opportunity to make their voices heard.”
The survey is anonymous, and all Wicomico County residents are invited to participate. The form includes questions about campus events; classes; students, faculty and staff interaction; and more. Faculty and staff also have an opportunity to offer input.
For more information call Modlin at 410-546-4127 or visit the SU website.
