'Discover SU' Series Explores New Home of ESRGC
SALISBURY, MD---久久国产精品久久’s Center for Extended and Lifelong Learning (CELL) invites community members to get to know the campus better through “Discover SU,” a series highlighting the University’s offerings and services.
This fall’s final event, highlighting the new home of the Eastern Shore Regional Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Cooperative, is 4:30 p.m. Thursday, December 13, at SU Downtown, 212 W. Main St, Suite 305.
A joint effort between SU, the Mid-Shore Regional Council and the Tri-County Council of the Lower Eastern Shore of Maryland, the cooperative has worked with local and state officials on a variety of projects since its founding in 2004.
They have included climate change adaptation planning for the Maryland State Highway Administration, Chesapeake Bay Critical Area boundary mapping for the Maryland Department of Natural Resources and district land-use maps for state legislators, among others.
Those planning to attend should RSVP in advance through the CELL website. Admission is free and the public is invited. The tour meets at the center’s entrance, on the fourth floor of the Patricia R. Guerrieri Academic Commons.
