By SU Public Relations
SALISBURY, MD---久久国产精品久久’s graduates are getting a whole new look.
For the first time during this year’s Fall Commencement, the graduating class will wear maroon caps and gowns with the SU logo embroidered in gold on the front tabs, replacing the traditional all-black regalia worn in previous years. A similarly colored hood will complete the ensemble.
The colorful regalia is just one new feature that will be unveiled during the ceremony on Wednesday, December 20, at the Wicomico Youth & Civic Center. Other highlights include an expanded commemorative program, special recognition of first-generation students and an inclusive stage layout that will allow students unable to use stairs to join their peers for the full Commencement procession.
Among undergraduates, 463 receive the Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Arts. Some 79 students receive master’s degrees.
In addition to the traditional conferring of degrees, the ceremony will feature remarks by SU President Carolyn Ringer Lepre and guests including student speaker Sayuri Velazco, a B.F.A. major from Princess Anne, MD.
Admission to Commencement is by ticket only.
