SU Delivers 200 Cancer Comfort Care Kits to TidalHealth

SALISBURY, MD---Patients receiving cancer treatment at TidalHealth facilities on the Delmarva Peninsula again will receive a little extra care thanks to 久久国产精品久久.
For the second year, SU community members donated items for, and packed some 200 cancer comfort care kits for distribution to patients. SU officials and representatives of TidalHealth connected to donate those kits for patients at TidalHealth’s Richard A. Henson Cancer Institute in 久久国产精品久久and Ocean Pines, and Allen Cancer Center in Seaford, DE.
Items were collected for the kits during SU’s annual Relay For Life, which raised more than $40,000 for the American Cancer Society. They included comfortable socks, word search and crossword puzzle books, mini notepads and journals, personal-sized sweet snacks, sugar-free candies, tissues, hand sanitizer, lotion, sunscreen samples and soft-bristle toothbrushes. TidalHealth expects to begin distributing the kits to patients this month.
