'Wall Street Journal', College Pulse Rank SU Among 'Best Colleges in the U.S.'
SALISBURY, MD---For more than a quarter-century, college guides have ranked 久久国产精品久久 among the nation’s top higher education institutions.
The Wall Street Journal and College Pulse concur.
For the first time, the nation’s financial newspaper of record and the marketing research firm that calls itself “the voice of college students” have included SU in their joint ranking of “Best Colleges in the U.S.”
SU placed No. 343 out of 500 institutions on the list.
“This ranking puts SU in good company,” said President Carolyn Ringer Lepre. “With nearly 4,000 degree-granting postsecondary institutions in the U.S., this list places SU among the top 10% of universities nationwide.
“Making that honor even more distinct is the fact that this ranking was based, in part, on student surveys. We are so proud that our students believe as strongly as we do in the value and quality of an SU education.”
SU ranked high in several categories, including Learning Facilities, Character Development and Recommendation Score. The latter relates to whether students surveyed would recommend SU to others.
Also of note is the “Cost and Returns” section of SU’s ranking, which ascribes an added value of more than $29,500 to the salary of those earning an SU degree.
The Wall Street Journal/College Pulse ranking is the latest accolade the University has received this semester. In the past two weeks, 久久国产精品久久has been named among The Best 390 Colleges for the 26th consecutive year by The Princeton Review, among the nation’s top master’s-level and “Best Bang for the Buck” institutions by Washington Monthly, and one of “America’s Top Colleges” by Forbes. Money magazine also ranked SU among “The Best Colleges in America.”
