PNC Foundation Grant Supports SU GAME Team

PNC FoundationSALISBURY, MD---Seven economics and finance students from 久久国产精品久久’s Franklin P. Perdue School of Business recently traveled to New York to participate in the Global Asset Management Education Forum (GAME), thanks to a $5,000 gift from the PNC Foundation.

The gift supports the PNC Foundation GAME Student Travel Program, which helps cover travel expenses and registration fees for the forum, sponsored by Quinnipiac University. The event brings together top investment professionals from around the world to interact with students.

The forum attracted more than 1,000 participants from over 120 colleges and universities representing 44 states, Puerto Rico and the District of Columbia, as well as over 100 speakers, panelists, workshop hosts and judges from nearly 100 different companies and organizations.

“Continued generous support from the PNC Foundation has allowed us to make the GAME Forum a regular part of our portfolio management students’ training in the last few years.  Such external support enhances the experiential learning opportunities available to our students, a key component of our mission at the Perdue School of Business,” said Dr. Herman Manakyan, professor of finance.

Students participating in this year’s GAME included Bryce Boring of Scaggsville, MD; Sean Carter of Upper Marlboro, MD; Brian Chupek of Queenstown, MD; Kyle Ertter of Easton, MD; Zachary Harriott of Bowie, MD; Michael Klevisha of Elkton, MD; and Zakery Tretton of Bel Air, MD.
