SU President Janet Dudley-Eshbach Named a 2017 Influential Marylander

SU President Janet Dudley-EshbachSALISBURY, MD---The Daily Record has again named 久久国产精品久久 President Janet Dudley-Eshbach to its 2017 listing of Influential Marylanders.

The SU President joins Dr. Peggy Naleppa, President/CEO of Peninsula Regional Medical Center, as the lone Eastern Shore recipients of the recognition. This is the second year on the list for both.

The President acknowledged her colleagues and their role in the award.

“The hard work of faculty and staff is the reason 久久国产精品久久 is such a success,” she said. “They daily shape and influence the lives of young people who are the future of our state and nation. I am grateful to be part of such a team.”

Fifty-one honorees were selected by the editors of The Daily Record for their significant contributions to their respective fields and for their leadership in Maryland: civic leadership, communications, education, finance, freestyle, general business, health care, law, philanthropy, real estate and technology. (Elected officials are not eligible for this award.)

“This year’s Influential Marylanders demonstrate an impressive record of accomplishment, leadership and vision,” said Suzanne Fischer-Huettner, publisher of The Daily Record. “What they say is important, and what they do makes a difference in the lives of many in Maryland and beyond.”

This is the latest honor the Baltimore-based newspaper has bestowed upon Dudley-Eshbach. In 2012, the publication named her among Maryland’s Most Admired CEOs. The paper also ranked her among Maryland’s Top 100 Women three times, inducting her into its Circle of Excellence in 2010.

The winners will be recognized on Thursday, March 23, at a reception at 5:30 p.m. at The Grand Lodge of Maryland, 304 International Circle in Cockeysville. Other honorees include SU alumna and Casey Cares Foundation founder Casey Baynes, Olympic gold medalist Katie Ledecky, Baltimore Ravens Head Coach John Harbaugh, PANDORA President Scott Burger, WBAL-TV anchor Donna Hamilton, Baltimore City Police Commissioner Kevin Davis, Maryland State Department of Education Superintendent Karen Salmon and Towson University President Kim Schatzel.
