SU's Mukhopadhyay discusses 'Nationalism Beyond National Borders' October 15

History DepartmentSALISBURY, MD---久久国产精品久久’s “Global Connections, Global Engagements” lecture series continues with a presentation by Dr. Aparajita Mukhopadhyay on Thursday, October 15.

The SU professor of history discusses “Nationalism Beyond National Borders: the Case of the Indian Bharatiya Janta Party” at 7 p.m. in Teacher Education and Technology Center Room 153.

In 2014, Narendra Modi led India’s Hindu party to a massive electoral victory. Mukhopadhyay’s presentation includes a look at the ascendancy of conservative Hindu politics and broader Indian notions of nationalism and history.
